An Anniversary Taking Root
The BID Group celebrates its 40th anniversary. For four decades, we have been among the leading providers of receivables management and debt collection services in Germany. With a clear focus on innovation, artificial intelligence, and process automation, we have not only established efficient processes and international networks over the past decades but also continuously invested in digitalization to set new benchmarks.
To mark our 40th anniversary, we initiated a very special project in the Oberfüllbacher Forest: the BID Forest.
In collaboration with the German Forest Protection Association, we planted 350 trees—one for each employee. In doing so, we are sending a message of sustainability and underscoring our connection to nature and people.
The first saplings were ceremonially planted by long-time employees and trainees. But our commitment doesn’t end there: In the coming months, all employees will have the opportunity to get actively involved and help the forest continue to grow. The project is being thoroughly documented so that we can track the forest’s development over the years.
This understanding of long-term growth and responsibility is also reflected in the BID Academy – our holistic concept for the professional and personal development of all employees. The BID Forest is part of the "Community" pillar – one of ten pillars of the BID Academy – and exemplifies our commitment to community, sustainable action, and active participation beyond daily work routines.
